Cracow and Wroclaw

Just a quick update of what I have been doing the past few days (or weeks.. the time keeps flowing like a river). When I came to Poland, I landed in Cracow. Since the flight was in the evening, I decided to stay for a night in this beautiful city and I was hosted by my friends. All of them were studying hard for the exams, so the next day I woke up quite early and decided to do something productive. I didn't have much time, but there was one place I  have been wanting to visit for a long time- The Museum of Contemporary Art. 

It is situated in the neighbourhood of some industrial plants and although the views outside are not magnificent, it's not far from the city centre and it's definitely worth visiting. 

I know that there are many people considering contemporary art as boring and bizarre. It also happens to me to be staring at a piece of art thinking what on earth is that supposed to mean. But although we may not always understand the message of an author, we should appreciate the fact that there are many creative people trying to express their feelings in different ways, so I really took my time and discovered many interesting works.

  

What I like about the MOCAK museum is that it has the exhibitions of many young, talented artists and it is divided into different parts, so you're able to watch there some short movies, see the paintings or the sculptures. Museum also include a bookshop and a very nice café, where you can seat down and treat yourself with a hot drink after visiting the collections.

After my short trip I went back to the flat and made my friends a quick dinner. Then it was time to leave and my next stop was Wroclaw.

I spent there couple of days hanging out with my boyfriend, eating a lot and enjoying great moments in that charming city. I also had to arrange some of my university things, so it was both busy and relaxing time. 

We discovered new places to eat and drink but I'll be making a seperate post about it (maybe). After the time spent in Wroclaw, I headed home, from where I am writting right at the moment. 

Now I can officialy say that my 3rd semester is over, because I passed all of my exams in Spain and one additional in Poland. To celebrate it and also take advantage of the last free days, I am going with my friend to London! We will also be making a short trip to Brussels, so I'm really excited. Christmas time and New Year's Eve

To trochę niepoprawne z mojej strony, że dopiero teraz wrzucam tego posta, ale wracając do Polski nie wzięłam ze sobą laptopa, a zaraz po sylwestrze lecieliśmy do Barcelony, po powrocie do Murcii zaś miałam egzamin, stąd totalny brak czasu na cokolwiek związanego z blogiem (poza robieniem zdjęć). Podsumowania roku nie zrobiłam żadnego, specjalnych postanowień noworocznych też nie mam, zostaje jedynie nadzieja że 2014 będzie lepszy niż wszystkie poprzednie lata razem wzięte :) planów już jest sporo, więc mam zamiar wszystko powolutku starać się realizować. Święta spędziłam w domu, to było 10 dni wypełnionych spotkaniami ze znajomymi, leżeniem na kanapie wśród całej rodziny, jedzeniem i mnóstwem śmiechu.

I know how far from being a good blogger I am by making this post just now, but let my words speak for me. I didn't bring my laptop from Spain when I was coming back to Poland and after the New Year's Eve we flew directly to Barcelona, whereas I had an exam when I came back to Murcia, so I really had no time for anything blog-related (except taking pictures).

I haven't made any sum up of a 2013, neither do I have any proper resolutions for the new year, I just hope 2014 to be the best of all time and better than all the previous years :)

I already have lots of plans, so I'll intend to accomplish things step by step. I spent Christmas at home, that was literally 10 days filled with meeting friends, lying on a sofa, spending time with my family, eating a whole lot and laughing as much again. 

Zaczęłam się też zabierać za reorganizację pokoju, mam zamiar wprowadzić tam sporo zmian, jeśli tylko pozwolą mi czas i warunki. Wspaniały pomysł, dobrze że wpadłam na niego jak już wyjechałam na studia 

i w domu bywam sporadycznie. Cóż, przynajmniej będą jakieś zmiany!

I've also started to re-organize my room, I intend to bring in quite a lot of changes, if only time and other conditions will let me. Such a brilliant idea, especially due to the fact that I made it up when I've already been studying in a different part of a country and now I come back home once in a blue moon. Well, at least there are some changes to happen.

Jeśli chodzi o sylwestra, to (jak co roku) plany się zmieniały z prędkością światła. Ostatecznie pojechaliśmy do Wisły gdzie była już większość naszych znajomych i tam zostaliśmy w domu jednej z koleżanek. Pierwszy naprawdę udany sylwester w moim życiu, wow!

When it comes to the New Year's Eve, we've been changing our plans almost every day (same thing happens annually). Finally, we went to a place in the mountains (in a south part of Poland) where one of a girl known made a home party. It was a great time!

1 stycznia rano już jechaliśmy do Wrocławia żeby stamtąd wieczorem złapać lot do Barcelony. Opisze pobyt w stolicy Katalonii i wrzucę posta jakoś w weekend (sobota/niedziela) bo w piątek mam kolejny egzamin. Przy okazji, spóźnione, ale najszczersze życzenia pomyślności w tym roku :)))

On 1th of January we've already been driving towards Wrocław so that we could catch the evening plane to Barcelona. I'll post about our time spent in a capital city of Catalonia this weekend, as I'm studying for the next exam now (which I have on Friday).
