Tego posta miałam przygotowanego już w piątek, ale z powodu problemów z internetem a także mojego weekendowego wypadu do Malagi został przełożony na dzień dzisiejszy. W parku Güell byliśmy dwa razy: w pierwszym dniu naszego pobytu i dzień przed wyjazdem, a to dlatego, że chcieliśmy też zobaczyć dom, w którym mieszkał Gaudi, zdecydowaliśmy się jednak zrobić to online, żeby nie czekać w kilometrowej kolejce.
I prepared this post already on Friday, but due to the problems we had with internet connection as well as my weekend trip to Malaga, I'm just posting it today.
We were in Park Güell twice, the first time on our arrival day and then, one day before return. This is because we also wanted to see the house that Gaudi once lived in. Our problem was the queue: so long that we would have spent the whole day waiting to buy a ticket. That's why we made it online and then came another day.
Sama historia powstania parku jest ciekawa (zachęcam do zapoznania się np. TUTAJ), moim zdaniem to świetne miejsce nie tylko do zwiedzania, ale i odpoczynku. Zawsze znajdzie się ktoś grający muzykę na żywo, przeszkadzają jedynie liczni imigranci rozłożeni ze stosem niepotrzebnych gratów na sprzedaż, ale to już powoli powszechne w znanych miejscach turystycznych.
For me already a history behind the park is interesting (I highly recommend to read about it, e.g. HERE), in my opinion not only is it a great place for sightseeing, but also for having a rest. There are always musicians playing live music, the only thing that stands in the way may be the number of immigrants selling their stuff everywhere, but I think that's becomming common in many tourist places.

The colourful birds on palm trees (I have no idea what kind of birds they are, let me say parrots in order not to be ignorant).
Mozaikowe elementy przewijają się nie tylko na budynkach, ale i bramie otaczającej park.
Mosaic elements recur not only on buldings, but also on a gate surrounding the whole park.
Za drugim razem naszego pobytu w parku czułam się fatalnie, dlatego nie udało nam się w tym dniu wiele zobaczyć. Przynajmniej teraz mam jakiś pretekst powrotu do Barcelony!
During our second stay at the park I felt horrible and that's why we couldn't see a lot that day. At least now I have a reason to visit Barcelona again!
Dom, w którym mieszkał Gaudi. Wewnątrz znajduje się muzeum z meblami zaprojektowanymi przez artystę. Ze środka roztacza się widok na miasto, więc Antonio mógł codziennie obserwować jak postępują prace nad Sagradą Familia.
The Gaudi House Museum, it was the residence of an artist. It houses a collection of furniture and objects designed by the architect. There's a view of the city from inside so Antonio could see how the work on Sagrada Familia develops day by day.
A to już najbardziej chyba znana budowla Barcelony. Kolejki do wejścia są nie do opisania, na szczęście bilety można też zakupić przez internet.
And that is the best-known Barcelona's building. The queues are defying description, thankfully one can also buy tickets online and that's what we did.
Ten pan pokazuje, jaka wspaniała pogoda nam towarzyszyła. Barcelona przywitała nowy rok słońcem i dość wysoką (jak na ten region i porę roku) temperaturą. No cóż, mieliśmy sporo szczęścia.
This happy man presents how wonderful the weather was. The new year started in Barcelona with a lot of sun and quite a high (as for this region and the season) temperature. Well, we had some luck, hadn't we.
To już wnętrze bazyliki. Piętro niżej znajduje się też grób Gaudiego i osobny ołtarz, natomiast jedno z bocznych wejść prowadzi do muzeum, w którym znajdują się modele poszczególnych części Sagrady Familii.
Here is the interior. The floor below there is Gaudi's tomb and another altar, while one of the side entrance leads to the museum containing models of particular parts of Sagrada Familia.
Następny post będzie już ostatnią częścią relacji z Barcelony. Biorąc pod uwagę ilość zdjęć, spokojnie mogłabym to rozbić na więcej części, ale nie ma to sensu, bo zrobiłoby się nudno. Nie wspominając o tym, że mam jeszcze tutaj wiele do pokazania (chociażby pobyt w Maladze, z której wróciłam wczoraj w nocy). A zatem materiału jest dosyć sporo, w razie jakichkolwiek sugestii śmiało proszę o podawanie ich w komentarzach :)
The next post will be the last part of my report from Barcelona. Considering the amount of pictures, I could easily make more parts of our trip, but it would get boring here. Not to mention the fact that I still have a lot to publish (even my stay in Malaga, from where I came last night). Then, there's quite a lot of content!
